Description:
Tigerwood floor will have a very distinctive
exotic appearance. The hardwood is light golden-brown with variable
black striping which varies in thickness. Tigerwood flooring darkens
dramatically with sunlight to deep red color.
Properties:
It is highly durable and strong. The wood weathers
well and is highly resistant to moisture absorption.
Janka Hardness: 1850
It is 43% harder than red oak.
Workability:
It is reported to be fairly easy to work and can
be finished smoothly with a high natural polish.
Uses:
Flooring, decking, fine furniture, veneers,
paneling, musical instruments
